What is a Sewage treatment system?

A sewage treatment system is a process of breaking down solid waste and liquid to produce much cleaner and more environment-friendly effluent. It is a treatment to clean the sewage which is no more harmful to the environment. Sewage is the waste generated from residential, commercial, and industrial establishments. This process is also called water recycle. This is the only way to overcome the water shortage in cities and towns.

How Does Sewage Treatment Plant Work?

• Primary Treatment: 60% of the loose solid waste is removed in this stage.

• Secondary Treatment: Under the Secondary phase, effluent is further treated and more wastage is removed by sedimentation and biological sludge.

• Tertiary treatment: This is the last and final stage the water goes to filter again to remove any leftover waste in the secondary treatment. The wastewater is then disinfected chemically before releasing into the Sea, Lakes, etc
